Celebrating 15 Years of Finding Our Stride

Run, walk, and get colorful for a great cause! This fun, untimed, family-friendly event benefiting Finding Our Stride welcomes participants of all ages and fitness levels. Along the course, you’ll be doused in bursts of bright color, creating a fun and celebratory experience from start to finish. Come dressed in white, leave covered in color, and help youth build fitness, self-esteem, and resilience along the way!

12:00 PM: 'Lolipop' start (300m course for kids 5 and under)

  • Yes! We’d love to welcome the whole family. Current Finding Our Stride runners registered for the Spring 2026 season participate free using the discount code shared by email. Children under age 5 also participate free. Youth ages 5–18 who are not currently registered with FOS may join for $20.

  • Yes! Current Spring 2026 Finding Our Stride athletes participate free. Please search “community color discount” in your email for the registration code. To help protect our limited complimentary athlete spots, we are sharing the code directly with current families rather than posting it publicly.

  • All ages are welcome. This event is designed to be fun, flexible, and family-friendly—whether you’re a young child, teen, parent, grandparent, or anywhere in between.

  • Free on-site parking will be available at Thetford Academy. Volunteers will help direct traffic and parking on event day. We recommend arriving a little early to allow time to park, check in, and get ready for the start.

  • Not at all! Parents and caregivers are welcome to cheer from the sidelines at no cost. If you'd like to walk or run the course alongside your child, we’d love to have you join by registering as a participant.

  • Wear SUNGLASSES to protect your eyes! We will also have extras if you need them. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes you can move in—and don’t mind getting colorful! White shirts are especially fun because they show the powder best.

  • Expect to get colorful! The powder is typically tossed in light bursts at stations along the course. Most participants leave with splashes of color on clothing and skin. The powder is non-toxic, washable, and designed for events like this. It usually washes out of skin easily and comes out of most clothing in the laundry, though we recommend wearing items you don’t mind getting messy.

  • We will have a 3K‍, ‍5K, and 400m “lollipop” course for kids 5 and under Whether you run, jog, or walk, both options are designed to be approachable and fun.

  • Nope! This is a fun, family-friendly, untimed event focused on movement, community, and celebration—not competition.

  • This event will happen rain or shine!
